Anyone that knows the one thing that gets me excited for Fall: Pumpkin! It’s shocking that I never had pumpkin pie until I was probably 20 years old, but once I did, I was in love with everything pumpkin. As soon as late September rolls around, I have my friends emailing and texting me with their latest pumpkin flavored finds. I truly do find it that exciting…the simple things, right?

The flavors of Fall are just heavenly. Roasted sweet potatoes with rosemary, butternut squash and brussel sprouts with thyme, cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin oh my! So get excited because this site will be invaded with fall flavored recipes that will get your taste buds excited and your skinny jeans too!

I love experimenting with different green smoothie ingredients and I’ve come up with some great Summer blends such as my Piña Colada Green Smoothie and my Cucumber Watermelon Refresher. However, Fall beckons for some warming flavors and so of course I had to try to come up with a pumpkin pie flavored green smoothie that tasted as close to the real thing as possible. Let’s face it, pie is amazingly delicious, but not so sweet to your waistline. This smoothie is high in fiber, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. It’s cleansing, energizing, refreshing and warming all at once.
